Installing and Configuring the Suffolk University VPN Client

Begining Installation

Contact Academic Technology for the VPN client software. Once obtained, Locate the VPN Client installer and double click it. When Presented with the welcome screen click next.

Finishing Installation

When presented with the licence agreement, click accept. The installation will automatically start. When prompted to reboot your computer, make sure that 'yes' is checked and click finish.

When your system reboots, you will be asked to update the VPN site. Select 'VPN@SUFFOLK' and click 'Update Now'

Select the 'Username and Password' Scheme, then enter your Mirapoint Email username. Then click OK.

Enter your password and click the 'Update' button

When the site has been updated you will see a confirmation box.

You will now see the VPN icon in your system tray. Right click it and select 'Connect'

Verify your Mirapoint email username and enter your Mirapoint email password and click 'Connect'

Connected

You should now be presented with a successful connection screen. You are now connected through the VPN and ready to use internal resources.
